The Fruit of the Holy Spirit

Bob Paddock begins his lesson on the "Fruit of the Holy Spirit."

Today is Day Four of “Three Lessons on the Holy Spirit.”

Monday – Wednesday, we studied “The Gift of the Holy Spirit” and “The Gifts of the Holy Spirit.” The Rwandan church leaders have expressed that they now have a new understanding of the Holy Spirit living in us and the spiritual gifts that He gives to us for the purpose of serving each other.

Today, Bob begins his lesson on The Fruit of the Holy Spirit. These church leaders are very good students and we are confident that they will leave this week with a clear distinction between the Gift, the Gifts, and the Fruit of the Holy Spirit. There has been confusion about maturity in Christ being measured by spiritual gift(s) and not the fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

I cannot begin to express the joy that Bob and I experience as we not only teach about the Holy Spirit, but experience this fruit manifested in the lives of these church leaders.

God is so good – all the time!

All the time – God is good.

So pleased to see the pictures and read your blog. I am praying for you and the church leaders, that they will learn much, be able to use that knowledge minister to their flocks, and pass it on to other church leaders. Thank you.
