My next trip to Rwanda is February 2-29. Bob Paddock will join me for the first part of this trip. Bob is the preacher at the Cornerstone Church of Christ in Chatham, VA. Rwanda Challenge serves under the oversight of Cornerstone Church. Bob and I will meet at Dulles International on February 2nd where we will catch our flight to Rwanda.
On Saturday and Sunday I will introduce Bob to Rwandan culture. We will visit the Genocide Memorial and the memorial at the Nyamata Church south of Kigali. Bob and I will preach on Sunday. No doubt, the Rwandans will invite Bob to dance in typical African worship. I will do my best to post a picture on the blog for your enjoyment.
Bob and I will study “Three Lessons on the Holy Spirit” with fifteen church leaders Monday—Friday (The Gift of the HS, The Gifts of the HS, and The Fruit of the HS). On Bob’s second Saturday, I will take him to Akagera National Park for an African Safari. Bob will fly out of Kigali on February 14.
The rest of February I will be equipping church leaders, visiting mission organizations, traveling to the southwest to experience where some of the church leaders live and making future plans to accomplish the vision.
