Enjoying God's Creation

We are now just slightly north of the city of Ruhengeri preparing for our last group of church leaders. This is in the North Province of Rwanda and it is cooler here; a blanket feels good at night. Jean D’Amour, one of “the six,” will assist Theophile and me in teaching. It has been very satisfying to experience the growth in many of these church leaders over the last three years. It is a great reward to have them participate in the teaching of other church leaders.

It is also satisfying to experience God’s creation everywhere we go in Rwanda, “The Land of a Thousand Hills.” This morning while I enjoy Rwandan coffee, bread with Rwandan honey, and fresh pineapple, there are mountain views on three sides, with a sky of white clouds.

God’s gifts are new every morning!

Feeling blessed to serve an amazing God,
Frank

Love reading all the blogs coming out of Rwanda, almost as good as being there. You are blessed and are a blessing, sue

What a joy to read your blog this morning and it so reminds me that there is a large world beside my own back yard that needs prayer and love. Thank you for serving God in a place where I am not able. Joy!

How wonderful it must be indeed to see their growth! especially since you KNOW they are determined and thrilled to be learning and growing. Praising Dad with you for your incredible experiences over there - not to mention the beauty you're surrounded by! Just restrain yourself from playing with the gorillas now. love you big brother!
