Twenty Congolese church leaders conclude their three days of study
On Wednesday went finished teaching our sixth group of church leaders on this trip. Some of these Congolese church leaders live and serve in the DRC. Since we were teaching at the southwest Rwandan border they were able to come and join other Congolese church leaders who serve in Rwanda.
Once again these church leaders were surprised and thrilled with the things they learned. They had no idea about the difference between the gift of the Holy Spirit and the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Last night our host for the week, who is a church leader shared with us he had been talking with one of the church leaders who attended the study. He expressed that his friend was very excited about the new things he had learned. The group seemed to be eager to share their new understanding with their churches and other church leaders.
Today we begin teaching another group of church leaders (all serve Pentecostal churches) in the same area. On Friday afternoon we plan to head back to Kigali for a wedding and our last two groups.
