Gene begins the week with an "Introduction to the Harmony of the Gospels"

I love to teach the Bible! And twenty-three students are ready to study this morning. These church leaders are referred to as the "Equip a Church Leader" group (http://www.rwandachallenge.com/equip-a-church-leader.html). RC studies God's Word with many church leaders, but we meet with this group on every trip. Our relationship with these church leaders has become very special. And their growth in Scripture has been very encouraging.

Yesterday we worshiped with the Zarephath Church in Kimironko in their new church building. Last year the government was threatening to kick them out of their rented facilities. This year they have their own building; no more rent. So, the church was excited, Frank greeted, Gene preached, and Theophile exhorted.

I enjoy worshiping with the Church in Rwanda. But, I love teaching Rwandan church leaders!

Some of you might recall the scene in "The Rookie" where Jimmy Morris walks up to Brooks in the locker room.
"You know what we get to do today, Brooks? We get to play baseball."

You know what Gene and I get to do today? We get to teach Rwandan Church leaders.

I'm enjoying reading the blogs. I need to catch up. I loved this post cause I can just see you all excited and ready to teach. It's even better when the recipients are so eager to learn. Love it!
