What can transcend the barriers of Rwanda & American culture? The love & purpose of God! We had another great day of sharing and I was privileged to witness Frank & Theophile share the rich truth of the Holy Spirit to the Church Leaders of Rwanda. Before our lunch break, Frank began to explain how few resources these men have and how bountiful is the library of the American preacher. I have never before made the connection of how much wealth in knowledge I have and the responsibility to share this knowledge with others in need like the leaders in Rwanda.
In the afternoon we enjoyed speaking in English with Joselyne, Theophile's niece. We were able to gain insight to the struggles of the Rwandan young adult such as the need for jobs, widespread HIV, and finding a relationship with God. Each moment of our days I sense more bridge building and more understanding to the unfolding plan of God that Rwanda Challenge is part of. The evening ended with Rwandan Pastor Steven and several of his band of brothers singing praise to God on the front portico. I love to sing to God with my African Brothers.
